Alison.com offers free IT courses in IT management, software tools, game development, mobile apps, software engineering, networking, security hardware, and data science. The courses are free to take but upon completion of a certificate or degree course, you have to pay a fee to get it printed. They also have a premium account for $9 which you can pay to access more of their features such as discounts on certificate fees and access to resume-building features

2. Edx

Edx is a massive open online course (MOOC) provider created by Harvard and Mt. Edx has university-level courses developed by schools nonprofit organizations and corporations. Each learning sequence includes short videos interspersed with interactive learning exercises where students immediately practice the concept from the tutorial videos and online discussion. The free IT courses offered are re-computers covering programming, website design, and data analysis.

You will receive a certificate upon completion but official certification and college credits are not free.
